Job summary

Toray Composite Materials America, Inc. is hiring entry-level production associates to learn resin production fundamentals in a fast-paced manufacturing setting in the Tacoma area. You will set up equipment, operate production lines, and participate in a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include machine setup, PPE use, basic maintenance, quality checks, data entry, and safe material handling. High school diploma or GED required; production experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous production experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and validate production machinery for proper operation.
• Frequent use of PPE suits and respirator.
• Assist with machine operation to ensure smooth production of quality products.
• Utilize hand tools to complete tasks (scrapers, cutting tools, carts).
• Learn to operate production equipment computer interface and process monitoring systems.
• Work with others to achieve teamwork and continuous improvement.
• Clean machines to ensure proper running and operation.
• Create and/or complete production-related paperwork.
• Provide accurate turnover information to the incoming shift.
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas.
