Job summary

The STEAD School is seeking an Engineering Instructor to lead hands-on engineering, design, and problem-solving experiences for students, connecting technical concepts to real-world challenges in sustainability, agriculture, health, technology, and the environment.

We’re looking for someone who guides authentic student projects, prototyping, testing, and iteration, and who builds strong relationships within a collaborative, innovative school environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or engineering education, a related STEM field, or equivalent professional experience is required.
• Teaching experience and state licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage students through hands-on engineering, design, and problem-solving experiences while connecting technical concepts to real-world challenges in sustainability, agriculture, health, technology, and the environment.
• Guide students through authentic projects, prototyping, testing, and problem-solving.
• Connect engineering concepts to real-world challenges and interdisciplinary learning.
