Job summary

PrideStaff in Lithia Springs, GA is seeking an Encoder Machine Operator to set up and run numbering heads on two machines, producing numbered checks and forms. Shift is Monday–Friday 8:00 am–4:30 pm, with overtime as needed.

Candidates should have 2+ years of experience and be comfortable with manual adjustments, changing ribbons and pads, greasing and daily hammer oiling. Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude are essential.

• Must be able to multitask in a fast paced environment.
• Manual dexterity and efficiency.
• Must be good with details and mechanically inclined.
• Able to provide 2 professional references.
• Willingness to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Set up to 4 numbering heads on 2 machines to produce numbered checks and forms.
• Perform adjustments to encoder as needed.
• Change out impact pads as worn on each numbering hammers.
• Change MICR and Arabic ribbons as necessary to meet order specifications.
• Grease all fittings on the machine once a month.
• Oil the hammer for each numbering tower daily.
