Responsibilities

• Validate firmware releases on embedded hardware against defined requirements.
• Execute manual regression testing across device functionality including power, sensors, connectivity.
• Perform ship testing and pre-deployment verification on production devices.
• Configure hardware and verify release readiness before customer deployment.
• Write light Python or shell scripts to streamline testing tasks.
• Communicate results and release readiness to cross-functional teams.
• Reproduce firmware issues using logs, serial interfaces, and lab tools.
• Partner with firmware and hardware engineers to validate behavior and edge cases.
