Job summary

Omega TMM is seeking a motivated Electro-Mechanical Assembly Associate to join our growing operations team in Rochester, NY. You will assemble high-quality presetter systems and learn industry-standard assembly, testing, and quality practices with on-the-job training.

Entry-level candidates with mechanical aptitude are welcome, and candidates with hands-on technical experience in manufacturing are preferred. A path to advanced electro-mechanical roles exists within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
• Preferred: technical school, vocational training, trade program, or military technical experience.
• Experience in manufacturing or hands-on technical environments is preferred.
• Entry-level candidates with mechanical aptitude are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical and mechanical components according to instructions and specs.
• Follow assembly procedures to ensure quality and safety.
• Read and interpret assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, and BOMs.
• Perform visual inspections and basic verification checks.
• Assist with machine builds, wiring, testing, and final system assembly as skills develop.
• Package and prepare finished products for shipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Participate in team meetings, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
