Qualifications

• Enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
• Degree program or experience should include electrical machinery, power distribution, PLCs/automation systems, or power electronics/drives.
• Preferred GPA of at least 2.7.

Responsibilities

• Assist with substation reliability and preventative maintenance through inspections and planning.
• Support safety initiatives, including labeling, schematic review, and lockout/tagout.
• Participate in upgrade and installation projects by reviewing diagrams and updating schematics.
• Contribute to instrumentation and control projects by assisting HMIs and logic development.
• Shadow electricians to gain hands-on field experience on installations and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with contractors and vendors on project coordination and documentation.
