Job summary

Twin Rivers Paper Company in Little Falls, NY is seeking an Electrical & Controls Engineer to join our engineering team. This hands‑on role focuses on electrical, automation, and controls projects that impact safety, reliability, and equipment performance.

You'll lead projects from concept through startup, program Allen‑Bradley PLCs (Studio 5000), troubleshoot drives and HMI systems, and collaborate with maintenance and operations to maximize uptime in a pulp and paper environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Experience with electrical and controls systems in manufacturing environments.
PLC programming and troubleshooting; Allen-Bradley/Rockwell preferred.
Experience with HMIs, drives/VFDs, motors, and electrical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Lead electrical, controls, automation, and capital projects from concept through installation and startup.
Program and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley PLCs including Studio 5000 and support HMI applications.
Troubleshoot industrial electrical and control systems including VFDs, drives, motors, MCCs, and distribution equipment.
Coordinate with maintenance and operations to reduce downtime and improve reliability.
Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, drawings, BOMs, and documentation.
