Job summary

Kenan Advantage Group (KAG) in North Canton, Ohio seeks an IS Team Manager (EDI) to lead a team designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-grade customer integrations, combining EDI expertise with systems integration and strong project leadership.

You will mentor developers, drive delivery, and enforce standards while collaborating with other IT managers. This hands-on leadership role emphasizes coaching, complex problem solving, and delivering reliable integration solutions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in EDI and enterprise integration projects.
• Strong knowledge of B2B EDI concepts, transaction sets, and industry standards.
• Experience delivering and implementing B2B EDI solutions.
• Hands-on experience with interfaces using EDI transaction sets (204, 990, 214, 210, 997).
• Experience leveraging AI and Generative AI to enhance integrations.
• Experience integrating data with transportation management systems using XML/CSV.
• Familiarity with FTP, SFTP, HTTPS and similar protocols.

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide the development team, managing projects and assignments.
• Collaborate with IT and department managers to set timelines and requirements.
• Identify risks and issues, escalating when needed to ensure on-time delivery.
• Mentor and coach team members, supporting training and career growth.
• Ensure adherence to department standards, processes, and guidelines.
• Provide regular status updates to upper management.
• Drive improvements to processes and customer-supplier relationships.
