Job summary

Southall Farm & Inn is seeking a hands-on Landscape Supervisor to support the maintenance and enhancement of our resort’s grounds. The role blends outdoor labor with team leadership, with at least 50% of time spent performing landscape tasks.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in landscape maintenance, knowledge of irrigation and low-voltage lighting, and a commitment to sustainable practices. A valid driver’s license and bilingual English/Spanish are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of landscape maintenance experience.
• Supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
• Knowledge of irrigation systems and low-voltage lighting.
• Commitment to sustainable landscaping practices.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, planting, mulching, and seasonal cleanups.
• Assist with irrigation repairs and low-voltage lighting maintenance.
• Ensure work meets resort’s aesthetic and environmental standards.
• Assist Landscape Manager with weekly property inspections and planning.
• Help develop and manage task lists based on inspection findings.
• Support task delegation and follow up with team members for timely, high-quality work.
• Step in to cover gaps and maintain daily workflow.
• Promote eco-friendly landscaping practices, including water conservation and native plants.
• Lead by example and encourage sustainable practices among crew members.
• Communicate landscaping needs and priorities with crew and other departments.
