Job summary

Ziegler Inc. offers an internship program for aspiring diesel and heavy equipment technicians in the Midwest. You’ll gain hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing equipment, learning from senior technicians in a shop environment.

As an Intern Technician, you’ll assist in diagnosing and repairing heavy diesel engines and construction or agricultural equipment, while maintaining a positive attitude and teamwork to ensure quality service.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a 2-year diesel/ equipment mechanics degree
• Maintain good grades
• Receive positive instructor recommendations
• Positive attitude and team player
• Own mechanic tool set
• Ability to maintain safe/clean work environment
• Safety-sensitive role with pre-employment drug test

• Develop real-world mechanical skills by working with senior technicians
• Assist in troubleshooting and repairing heavy diesel engines and equipment
