Job summary

Ultimation Industries, an MCE company, seeks a Mechanical Assembler in Roseville, MI to build MDR, belt, gravity, and custom conveyors per drawings. You’ll work with skilled teams using hand and power tools, reading blueprints, and ensuring quality fastenings for automotive, food processing, and fulfillment facilities.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of mechanical assembly experience.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Proficiency with common hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
• Safety-conscious with ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assembles conveyor systems—MDR, belt, gravity, roller, and custom configurations per drawings and work instructions.
• Uses hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments to fit, align, and secure components.
• Performs basic mechanical fabrication including drilling, cutting, tapping, and fastening.
• Packages, prepares, and stages completed equipment for shipment as required.
• Inspects assemblies for proper function and safety before release.
• Collaborates with production supervisors and engineers to identify and resolve assembly issues.
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work area and supports continuous improvement.
