Centaurus Farms in Boulder, CO is seeking a hands-on Controller to own the books of a two-state cannabis operator. This is the first full-time finance hire and you will build the function the business relies on.

The role is hybrid with three in-office days per week, reporting to the CEO and supervising a bookkeeper. You will manage close, inventory costing, intercompany activity, and budget reporting across Colorado and Kentucky.

Formación

• Eight+ years in accounting with inventory and cost accounting focus.
• Experience consolidating multiple entities across states.
• ERP/inventory system implementation experience.
• Cannabis industry experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Own monthly close for all entities across Colorado and Kentucky.
• Manage the parent company's books and intercompany activity.
• Cost accounting for product costs by SKU through cultivation, extraction, manufacturing, and packaging.
• Lead the inventory and manufacturing system rollout and BOM linkage.
• Coordinate tax and compliance with external partners.
• Oversee cash flow forecasting, payables/receivables, payroll.
• Budgeting and monthly variance reporting with department heads.
• Implement practical controls over cash, inventory, purchasing, and approvals.
• Manage the bookkeeper and plan for growing the finance function.
