Stubborn Mule LLC seeks a reliable CNC Programmer to independently program, set up, operate, and maintain CNC equipment in a production environment. The role demands strong technical judgment, consistency, and accountability to ensure parts are produced correctly, safely, on time, and to specification—every time.

This hands-on position requires working without close supervision, reading blueprints, and applying rigorous process controls to meet quality standards and production schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous CNC programmer/Machine Operator experience.
• Ability to read and interpret design blueprints.
• Extensive experience with Fusion 360 and Mastercam.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift objects.
• Ability to work after-hours when required.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and verify blueprints and GD&T before machining.
• Design and develop fixtures to meet quality and cycle-time goals.
• Create and optimize CNC programs for accuracy and efficiency.
• Develop programs that work with defined setups and fixtures.
• Select and verify cutting tools, offsets, and work coordinates.
• Load materials and set machine parameters.
• Run first-article parts and verify dimensions.
• Monitor machines and adjust as needed to maintain quality.
• Perform in-process and final inspections using measuring tools.
• Diagnose and resolve machining, tooling, and program issues with minimal downtime.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Train new employees on machine operation and safety.
