Job summary

Approach Venture is seeking a CNC Manufacturing Engineer to support aerospace-grade tooling and prototypes. You will own the machining lifecycle from CAM programming to inspection and work closely with design engineers to improve part producibility.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year CNC experience, familiarity with CAM platforms, and strong GD&T skills. On-site role with growth into manufacturing leadership as the company scales.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 1+ years of CNC machining or closely related hands-on engineering experience.
• Experience with CNC milling and/or turning.
• Familiarity with CAM programming and CNC setup.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture precision molds, tooling, prototype parts, and production hardware.
• Own CNC machining operations from CAM programming through setup, machining, and inspection.
• Program and operate CNC mills and lathes.
• Work from CAD models and GD&T requirements.
• Develop CAM programs, templates, and machining processes.
• Support tooling repair, fixture design, and capacity planning.
