Everforth ECS seeks a Cloud Security Engineer to join our Washington, DC area team with flexible remote options. This hands-on role focuses on securing cloud and web assets, while maintaining and hardening our Linux server infrastructure.

You will analyze cloud services/APIs for risk, develop detection and response procedures, and work within a security operations mindset across cloud and Linux environments. Salary ranges reflect market norms for this senior security role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in information technology or cybersecurity; 3+ years hands-on cloud security.
• Experience planning, implementing, and monitoring security for enterprise cloud assets.
• Familiarity with cloud-native security tooling and cloud architectures such as SaaS/PaaS.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and monitor security measures across enterprise cloud platforms.
