RIM Recruitment Professionals in Atlanta is seeking a hands-on Chief Operating Officer to lead a high-volume restaurant group. This is not a corporate, sit-behind-a-desk COO position; the owner seeks an operator who can work on the floor with the team and drive results.
You will own day-to-day operations, build scalable systems, manage labor and food costs, mentor the leadership team, and push growth as the company expands.
NOW HIRING: Chief Operating Officer
High-Volume Restaurant Group – Atlanta, GA
Base Salary up to $160,000+ | Bonus | Benefits
An established, highly regarded Atlanta-based restaurant and specialty food organization is looking for a hands-on Chief Operating Officer to lead the company into its next phase of growth.
This is not a corporate, sit-behind-a-desk COO position.
The founder/owner is looking to step back from day-to-day operations, creating an opportunity for an experienced restaurant executive to take ownership of the operation, strengthen the infrastructure, develop the leadership team, and help position the company for significant future growth.
We need an operator first — someone who is comfortable working at the strategic level but isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and get involved in the details.
What You’ll Own
Take responsibility for day-to-day operations across the organization
Serve as the key operational leader as the owner transitions into a smaller day-to-day role
Lead, coach, develop, and hold the management team accountable
Drive operational consistency, hospitality, food quality, and execution
Establish scalable systems, processes, SOPs, and accountability
Oversee labor, food costs, purchasing, inventory, budgeting, and overall profitability
Analyze P&Ls and identify opportunities to improve margins and operational performance
Strengthen communication between locations, production, and corporate leadership
Develop and implement strategies to improve sales, profitability, productivity, and guest experience
Recruit and develop future leaders as the organization expands
Work closely with ownership on growth strategy and future expansion
Be highly visible in the operation — leading from the floor, not from an office
Who We’re Looking For
Proven senior leadership experience with a high-volume restaurant, hospitality, specialty food, or multi-unit organization
Experience as a COO, VP of Operations, Director of Operations, Regional Director, or accomplished multi-unit operator ready for the next step
Strong understanding of restaurant economics, including P&L management, labor, food costs, purchasing, inventory, and profitability
Demonstrated ability to build systems and infrastructure for a growing organization
Exceptional leadership and team-development skills
Strong operational instincts with the ability to identify problems and personally drive solutions
Comfortable working closely with an entrepreneurial founder/owner
Experience helping an organization scale and grow is highly desirable
Atlanta-based or willing to relocate to Atlanta
Compensation & Opportunity
Base salary up to $160,000+
Performance bonus
Comprehensive benefits
Significant influence over the future direction of the organization
Opportunity to become the day-to-day operational leader of an established Atlanta company preparing for growth
This is a unique opportunity for a proven restaurant executive who wants more than another corporate operations position.
The owner has built a successful business and is ready to hand greater responsibility to the right operational leader. You’ll have the opportunity to put your fingerprints on the organization, develop the team, improve the business, and help build the platform for its next stage of growth.
If you’re a hands-on restaurant operator who knows how to lead people, drive profitability, build systems, and scale a business, I want to speak with you.
