Job summary

Chamberlain Advisors is conducting a confidential search for a Chief Financial Officer to lead the finance and accounting functions for a PE-backed vehicle transportation services company based in the Kansas City area. The CFO will partner with the CEO, manage the close, and oversee consolidation across entities, while integrating post-acquisition systems and controls.

The role requires a hands-on, builder-oriented finance leader with deep FP&A, board reporting, and private equity experience,

Qualifications

• CPA and/or substantive controllership background required.
• Experience producing timely consolidated monthly financial reporting.
• Led annual budgeting and multi-year planning and forecasting.
• Hands-on finance leader; able to drive close process and story-telling to the board.

Responsibilities

• Own the close: timely, accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual close.
• Lead hands-on accounting procedures and internal controls; reduce bottlenecks.
• Build and uplift accounting function and team capabilities.
• Deliver consolidated financial reporting for U.S. and Canadian operations.
