Job summary

Cirsium Biosciences is seeking a hands-on CEA Production Supervisor to lead daily indoor hydroponic production activities and supervise CEA Production Associates. You will ensure safe, on-time execution of production workflows and maintain accurate documentation in a fast-paced biotech environment.

The role requires strong frontline leadership, plant-health awareness, and collaboration with Quality, Process Development, Facilities, and Materials to maintain production readiness and quality

Qualifications

• 4+ years in commercial horticulture, controlled environment agriculture, or related plant-production environment.
• 2+ years leading employees, crews, or production activities; supervisory experience required.
• Practical knowledge of plant growth, irrigation, nutrient management, temperature, humidity, light, CO2, and sanitation.
• Experience with routine crop scouting, plant-health observations, and escalation of pathogens or pests.
• Ability to work onsite hands-on in controlled growing and production areas.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily CEA production activities, including plug prep, sowing, germination, transplanting, irrigation, nutrient dosing, and cleaning.
• Organize labor, materials, equipment, and production areas to execute scheduled activities safely and on time.
• Maintain hands-on presence and ensure work follows approved procedures and batch records.
• Coordinate readiness, training, and prioritize production with attention to safety and quality.
• Collaborate with Quality, Process Development, Facilities, Materials, and other functions to support readiness and improvements.
