Job summary

Micro Quality Calibration Inc. (MQC) seeks an experienced Metrology Quality Engineer to ensure precision, accuracy, and compliance of client measurement instruments. The role requires hands-on calibration expertise and strong knowledge of quality systems within fast-paced, standards-driven environments.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of direct, hands-on calibration and metrology experience required (bench-level work).
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Metrology, Chemistry, Physics, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure calibrations, inspections, and verifications comply with ISO, ANSI, and related standards.
• Act as subject matter expert on calibration quality, offering technical guidance to teams.
• Develop or assist in calibration procedures, uncertainty budgets, and technical applications.
• Improve calibration methods or quality control to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and traceability.
• Manage ITAR-controlled documents and ensure compliance with export regulations.
• Maintain technical documentation, calibration records, and certificates per regulations.
• Analyze calibration data; investigate anomalies, resolve OOTs, and lead CAPAs.
• Oversee verification and performance checks of lab equipment and standards.
• Support and prepare for internal and external audits.
• Train technicians on procedures, standards, and best practices.
• Communicate results and insights to stakeholders; provide documentation and support.
• Follow all safety and operational protocols in lab and field environments.
