Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East seeks a detail-oriented Cable Assembly Technician in Framingham to support the Hardware Engineering team. You will perform cable assembly, harness fabrication, and hardware testing for GPS/tablet systems.

Responsibilities include wiring, crimping, soldering, diagram reading, and quality inspections. Fast-paced, hands-on bench work with tools and documentation to ensure production accuracy and continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience with wire crimping, soldering, stripping, and cutting.
• Experience in cable assembly, wiring harness fabrication, electronics, or related field.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical schematics.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Hardware Engineering team with cable assembly and troubleshooting.
• Perform wire crimping, soldering, stripping and cutting.
• Build custom wiring harnesses and cable assemblies.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and assembly instructions.
• Inspect completed assemblies to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with cable assemblies and wiring harnesses.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
• Properly manage tools, equipment, and materials.
• Work with engineering staff to identify process improvements and resolve production issues.
• Document assembly processes and maintain accurate production records.
• Support additional hardware‑related tasks as needed.
