Pow.bio is looking for a Build Engineer in El Segundo to assist in bringing high-speed turbomachinery hardware into production. This hands-on role is ideal for new graduates, focusing on assembling and integrating complex systems, while supervising first-articled testing.

You will collaborate with engineering teams, gain invaluable experience, and contribute to the development of innovative portable nuclear microreactors. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a strong interest in mechanical assembly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong interest in hands-on mechanical assembly.
• Basic understanding of GD&T principles.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assembly and integration of turbomachinery hardware.
• Develop precise assembly instructions and specifications.
• Work closely with design and test engineers.
