Job summary

Sheridan is hiring for a Manufacturing Associate – Finishing/Bindery on a daytime shift (7a–7p), full-time. We’ll train you to operate high-speed bindery equipment and contribute to producing books, catalogs, and printed materials. No bindery experience? No problem—we’ll teach you.

You’ll work on feeding, packing, moving materials, and quality inspection, with a team-focused environment and safety-first culture.

Qualifications

• Experience operating machinery in any industry (manufacturing, warehouse, trades, etc.).
• High school Diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent education/experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and read and interpret documents such as work orders, safety rules, and maintenance manuals.
• Basic math skills and ability to use a measuring device.
• Basic problem-solving skills.
• Mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools.
• Able to read basic job instructions and measurements.
• Pride in doing quality work.
• Reliable team member.

Responsibilities

• Feed books/signatures into the machine.
• Pack books into cartons.
• Safely move materials/books to and from the workstation.
• Perform hand operations as required.
• Work as part of a team to hit daily production goals.
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
