Job summary

Lithionics Battery in Clearwater, FL is seeking a hands-on Electrical Engineering Intern to gain real lab experience building and testing battery systems. You’ll work directly with engineers and manufacturing teams on lithium battery systems used in demanding real-world applications.

You will assist with hands-on testing, set up and document lab tests, and learn how hardware is designed, tested, and improved.

Qualifications

• Current student pursuing a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering (or related field).
• Interest in battery systems, power electronics, or hardware development.
• Comfortable working in a lab environment and learning by doing.
• Curious, detail‑oriented, and not afraid to ask questions or investigate failures.
• Experience with schematics, wiring, PCBs, or test equipment is a plus—but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hands‑on testing and validation
• Set up, run, and document lab tests
• Hardware troubleshooting and failure analysis
• Be a technical extra set of hands in the lab, supporting engineers during development and testing
• Help oversee and execute tests directed by senior team members
• Learn how real‑world electrical designs behave outside of simulations
• Create clear, usable Manufacturing documentation
