Job summary

Deloitte Global is seeking a hands-on Solution Architect to design and evolve both high-level and detailed architectures for new features across Azure, .NET/C#, and React/Node. You will pair with engineers, produce reference implementations, and ensure scalable, cost-efficient solutions.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years building production software and 3+ years as architect/principal engineer.
• Deep proficiency in C#/.NET (7/8), ASP.NET Core, WebAPI, async/concurrency.
• Strong React (18+) + TypeScript and Node.js experience, Jest/Cypress testing.
• Azure expertise: App Services, Functions, AKS, API Management, Service Bus, SQL, Cosmos DB.
• Experience delivering data-processing systems (batch/stream, resiliency and throughput).
• CI/CD with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions; IaC with Bicep/Terraform; containers Docker/Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of DDD, integration patterns, and secure design.

Responsibilities

• Define high-level and low-level architecture for new features and refactors.
• Author ADRs and validate decisions via experiments and load tests.
• Build reference implementations/PoCs in C#/.NET and React/Node.
• Review PRs and pair with engineers on tricky problems.
• Design event-driven and streaming architectures using Azure services.
• Engineer for high throughput and low latency: concurrency, caching, partitioning, idempotency.
• Model data across Azure SQL and Cosmos DB with indexing and partitioning.
• Guide React/TypeScript architecture; SSR/BFF patterns with Node.js.
• Ensure clean API contracts and sound error semantics; visualize observability.
• Drive CI/CD, IaC, repeatable environments, and golden templates.
• Define SLOs/SLIs, on-call readiness and RCA for incidents.
• Champion cost optimization and performance improvements.
