Job summary

Deloitte Global is seeking a hands-on Solution Architect to design and evolve both high-level and detailed architecture for new product features while supporting existing capabilities. You will lead with code, produce reference implementations, and ensure robust, scalable, cost-efficient Azure solutions using .NET/C#, React/Node/TypeScript, and modern data-processing patterns.

You will define HLD/LLD, author ADRs, build PoCs, review PRs, and drive secure, observable, and cost-aware architectures

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of production software experience and 3+ years as hands-on architect or principal engineer.
• Deep proficiency in C#/.NET, ASP.NET Core, WebAPI, and async/concurrency.
• Strong React (18+), TypeScript, and Node.js experience; testing with Jest/Cypress.
• Extensive Azure expertise including App Services, Functions, AKS, API Management, Service Bus, SQL and Cosmos DB.
• Proven delivery of data-processing-intensive systems (batch/stream) with resiliency and throughput.
• CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions; IaC with Bicep/Terraform; containers Docker/Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of architecture trade-offs, DDD, integration patterns, and secure design.

Responsibilities

• Define high-level and low-level architecture for new features and refactors.
• Author Architecture Decision Records and validate decisions with experiments and load tests.
• Build reference implementations/PoCs in C#/.NET and React/Node to de-risk patterns.
• Review and merge PRs; pair with engineers on tricky problems.
• Design event-driven and streaming architectures using Azure services.
• Engineer for high throughput and low latency with optimized I/O, caching, and partitioning.
• Model data across Azure SQL and Cosmos DB with indexing and query optimization.
• Guide React/TypeScript architecture including SSR/BFF patterns with Node.js.
• Ensure clean API contracts (REST/JSON, GraphQL) and sound error semantics.
• Drive observability with OpenTelemetry, App Insights, and dashboards.
