ETS Staffing is seeking an Assembly Technician for first shift in-person in Selkirk, NY. Assemble sub-systems by hand following detailed instructions and operate hand and power tools to complete tasks to specification.

You will read SOPs and assembly documentation, perform basic troubleshooting, and maintain a clean, OSHA-compliant work area. The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, and strong attention to detail with good communication.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in a manufacturing assembly role.
• High manual dexterity and comfort using hand and power tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.
• Basic computer operation skills.
• Team-oriented with effective communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assemble a variety of sub-systems and components by hand following detailed instructions.
• Operate manual hand tools, power tools, and material handling equipment as needed.
• Read and interpret Standard Operating Procedures and assembly documentation.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and problem-solving during the manufacturing process.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
• Communicate professionally with team members and supervisors to ensure workflow efficiency.
