Job summary

Wabash in Lafayette, IN is seeking assemblers to join our manufacturing team. You’ll assemble components, install subassemblies, rivet parts, and apply decals while ensuring safety and quality standards. Training is provided on the production floor, with PPE and a collaborative environment.

You will work with a variety of hand tools and power equipment, adapt to different departments, and contribute to efficient production and metric-driven performance. The role emphasizes safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Basic reading, writing, & verbal skills.
• Experience and education are a plus; training provided by Wabash.

Responsibilities

• Own and help improve performance in Safety, Quality, and Delivery.
• Prepare and assemble components, install subassemblies and decals.
• Operate rivet punchers and heavy machinery as directed.
• Follow blueprints and decal templates; read and follow safety policies.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and use PPE as required.
