Job summary

Relapath in Fargo, ND seeks Apprentice Sprinkler Fitters to join a direct-hire program and begin a career in fire safety. You will work alongside licensed journeymen to install, modify, and service sprinkler systems in commercial and residential buildings.

This hands-on apprenticeship combines on-the-job training with classroom study, and you will attend required classes while contributing to real projects on site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Enrollment in UA or equivalent registered apprenticeship program.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work at heights, and stand for extended periods.
• Valid driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the installation of sprinkler piping, heads, hangers, and related components following approved blueprints and NFPA 13/13R/13D standards
• Cutting, threading, grooving, and joining pipe using hand and power tools
• Helping with system testing, flushing, and inspections
• Maintaining a clean and safe job site in compliance with OSHA regulations
• Attending all required apprenticeship classes and completing coursework on schedule
• Performing other duties as assigned by your supervisor
