Job summary

Citi in Jersey City, New Jersey is seeking a Hands-On Technical Lead to guide its Services AI Platform engineering team. This role entails a balance of coding and leading the technical strategy for a custom AI platform, including development of agentic ecosystems and advanced data retrieval systems.

The ideal candidate should have over 10 years of experience, including significant exposure to AI/ML technologies, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful project deliveries. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant fields is required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience in software development or engineering.
• 5+ years in AI/ML with at least 2+ years in Generative AI.
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of custom AI platform components using Python and Angular.
• Code and optimize multi-tenant intelligent agents.
• Develop data ingestion and retrieval code for advanced RAG architectures.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field
