Job summary

US Cold in the Greater Philadelphia area is seeking a hands-on AI Platform engineer to prototype, build, test, and operationalize AI-assisted capabilities across engineering and IT.

You will create reusable AI services, RAG systems, agents, and integrations with Azure AI, GitHub Copilot, and other tools, delivering production-ready solutions.

This role emphasizes practical delivery, collaboration with security, cloud, and platform teams, and measurable improvements in productivity and reliability.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience developing and delivering Generative AI solutions.
• Cloud services, containers, source control, CI/CD, secrets management, identity, logging, and monitoring; Azure experience preferred.
• REST APIs, JSON, SQL, and enterprise content handling.
• Maintainable code, automated tests, documentation, and security considerations.

Responsibilities

• AI Solution Development — design and build internal copilots, agents, RAG apps, and workflow automations.
• Enterprise Knowledge Platforms — ingest, structure, embed, retrieve, and govern enterprise content.
• Agent and MCP Engineering — develop tool-enabled agents and MCP servers connecting AI to enterprise systems.
• Engineering Productivity Automation — enable code understanding, review, test generation, and incident analysis.
• Rapid Prototyping and Experimentation — evaluate models, prompts, and tooling; document findings.
• Evaluation and Quality — create tests, evaluations, grounding checks, and observability.
• Production Readiness — ensure identity, access controls, monitoring, and deployment pipelines.
