Interns will gain hands-on experience with tractors, trucks, forklifts, small engines, golf carts, and potting machinery while learning maintenance and safety practices. Under supervision, you will assist with routine servicing, tire work, records, and identifying downtime improvements.

Qualifications

• Interest or foundational experience in mechanical systems.
• Willingness to learn and operate shop tools.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• Commitment to workplace safety and a clean, organized shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with routine service and preventative maintenance on tractors, trucks, and other production equipment.
• Assist with tire repair, replacement, and maintenance across equipment types.
• Maintain accurate and organized service records.
• Help identify opportunities to reduce equipment downtime and improve repair efficiency.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, including proper care of shop tools and equipment.
• Communicate repair progress and equipment issues with the supervising mechanic.
• Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a culture of safe work practices.
