Job summary

The Aviation Institute of Maintenance (AIM) seeks experienced Aircraft Maintenance Technicians to join as instructors at our Duluth, GA campus. This full-time, on-site role offers compelling schedules and a $2,500 sign-on bonus, with compensation up to $36 per hour based on experience.

No prior teaching experience is required, as a 5-day paid trainer helps you transition. You will deliver FAA Part 147-aligned training, mentor students, and help shape the next generation of aviation professionals

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; A&P licensure preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of aircraft maintenance experience.
• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification required.
• No prior teaching experience required; 5-day paid instructor training provided.

Responsibilities

• Teach aircraft maintenance systems, procedures, and hands-on techniques.
• Deliver FAA-aligned curriculum to prepare students for A&P certification.
• Demonstrate practical skills used by AMTs and aviation technicians.
• Maintain accurate attendance, grades, and progress records.
• Support curriculum updates and collaborate with program leadership.
• Create a structured, engaging, and safety-focused learning environment.
• Maintain classroom, lab equipment, and training materials.
