LeClaire Manufacturing in Bettendorf, Iowa is seeking a dependable 3D Core Technician to join our hands-on team. This entry-level role focuses on cleaning and finishing 3D printed sand cores used in our aluminum casting operations.

You will handle cores with care, inspect for defects, and follow established cleaning procedures to ensure quality. Training is provided; strong attendance and the ability to work both independently and as part of a production team are essential.

Qualifications

• No prior 3D printing experience required; training provided.
• Experience in manufacturing or hands-on roles is helpful but not required.
• Good attention to detail and ability to identify defects.
• Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.
• Comfort with hand tools and production equipment.
• Ability to lift, carry, and handle materials safely.

Responsibilities

• Clean 3D printed sand cores using hand tools, compressed air, vacuums and other approved cleaning equipment.
• Remove loose and excess sand from printed cores.
• Visually inspect cores for damage, defects or excess sand.
• Handle cores carefully to prevent damage during cleaning and inspection.
• Follow established cleaning procedures and quality requirements for different core designs.
• Keep the work area clean, organized and safe.
• Follow all safety procedures and use required PPE.
• Communicate quality concerns or damaged cores to the team.
