Job summary

Stella-Jones is seeking a Mobile Equipment Operator 1 in Arlington, WA to load, unload and transport materials across our facilities. You will operate Pettibone, Sennebogen or Front End Loader, perform inspections, fueling and routine maintenance while following safety and quality guidelines.

Qualifications

• Operate mobile equipment including Pettibone, Sennebogen and Front End Loader while adhering to safety and production standards.
• Move material accurately to processing equipment, storage areas and designated zones.
• Assist with inspection, fueling, servicing and cleaning of equipment to maintain readiness.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, sort and transport material following quality, safety and production guidelines.
• Move material to/from processing equipment, railroad cars, trucks and storage areas.
• Operate lifting devices to position pallets, skids and products for loading/unloading.
• Unload and stack material and manage bin/SKU inventories per FIFO principles.
• Document and report mechanical operation and maintenance needs of equipment.
• Participate in company safety program and adhere to safety policies.
• Train peers in equipment operation.

Mobile Equipment Operator 1 operate Pettibone, Sennebogen or Front End Loader by performing the following duties:

Principal Responsibilities

• Load, unload, sort and transport material while following quality, environmental, safety and production expectations
• Accurately move material to and from processing equipment, railroad cars, trucks, treating trams, storage bins and other areas as required.
• Moves levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus.
• Positions forks, lifting platform or other lifting device under, over or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, product or materials and transports load to designated area.
• Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device.
• Will participate and know importance of consistent bin/sku management principals
• Will participate in FIFO expectations while handling inventory
• Will participate in physical inventories when applicable.
• Assists in moving of treatment charges for storage, loading and unloading.
• Assists in maintenance and service of mobile equipment as required, including inspections, fueling, safety and cleaning as required.
• Trains peers in equipment operation.
• Documents and reports mechanical operation and maintenance requirements of equipment.
• Participates and contributes to company safety program.
• Performs other job related duties as assigned.
