Job Duties

Provides movement of packages, documents, dangerous goods, and supplies in a timely, safe, and efficient manner through effective scan/load methods. This is a non-driving position (public roadways). Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to lift 50 lbs. without assistance from the ground to chest level and maneuver packages over 50 lbs. using appropriate equipment or assistance. Capable of walking and standing for designated hours, bending, squatting, maneuvering packages above shoulder level, and working in enclosed spaces or stacking packages overhead if required. Able to work in all weather conditions and climb stairs or ladders as needed. Must complete all basic and re-currency training. Effective communication in noisy environments is required.

Job Conditions

Non-covered safety-sensitive position. Must work in a constant state of alertness and safety awareness.
