Job summary

Gildan in Mayodan, North Carolina, seeks a motivated team member to safely operate material handling equipment and support production in a fast-paced yarns environment.

You will move barrels of cotton, maintain housekeeping, and collaborate with a diverse team in a facility known for safety and quality. Weekly pay is offered, with a 12-hour 2-2-3 shift pattern (7am-7pm or 7pm-7am).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
• Ability to work in a cotton dust environment.
• Exceptional attendance and reliability.
• Team player with good reliability.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate material handling equipment (Tugger) as needed.
• Maintain housekeeping by sweeping debris to prevent yarn contamination.
• Move barrels of cotton between locations.
• Work a 12-hour shift on a 2-2-3 schedule (7am–7pm or 7pm–7am).

• Sweep up debris from the floor to prevent yarn contamination and maintain good housekeeping.
• Move barrels of cotton from one location to another location.

• This is a 12-hour shift, 2-2-3 schedule, 7am to 7pm or 7pm to 7am.
• This opportunity is based in our Yarns Division
