Job description

Job Duties
Provides movement of packages, documents, dangerous goods, and/or supply support in a timely, safe, and efficient manner through effective scan/load methods. May occasionally drive DOT-sized vehicles. Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to lift 50 lbs. without assistance from the ground to chest level and maneuver packages over 50 lbs. using appropriate equipment or assistance. Able to walk, stand, bend, and squat for designated work hours. Capable of maneuvering packages above shoulder level and in enclosed spaces, stacking packages above head if required. Able to work in all weather conditions and climb stairs or ladders as needed. Must complete all basic and recurrency training. Effective communication in noisy environments is required.

Requires medical exam per FMCSA or FAA regulations. Must meet qualifications outlined in Section 391 of FMCSA regulations. Refer to Policy 4-48 for specific job requirements.

Job Conditions

Non-covered safety-sensitive position. Medical exam required. Must work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Valid driver license required.

Pay Transparency

Must be 21 years or older with a valid driver’s license for the past 3 years. No suspensions. Pay rate: $17.20/hour.
