Job Duties

1. Provides movement of packages, documents, dangerous goods, and supply support in a timely, safe, and efficient manner using effective scan/load methods.
2. Occasionally drives DOT-sized vehicles.
3. Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. from ground to chest level without assistance.
• Ability to maneuver packages over 50 lbs. using equipment or assistance.
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, and squat for designated work hours.
• Ability to maneuver packages above shoulder level and in enclosed spaces.
• Ability to stack packages above head if required.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions and climb stairs or ladders if needed.
• Ability to complete all required training.
• Effective communication skills in noisy environments.

Requires medical exam per FMCSA or FAA regulations and must meet qualifications outlined in Section 391 of FMCSA regulations. Refer to Policy 4-48 for detailed job requirements.
