Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completed orthopedic surgery residency.
• Completion of a hand and upper extremity or hand surgery fellowship.
• Board-eligible or board-certified in Orthopedic Surgery.
• License to practice medicine in applicable state

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage hand, wrist, forearm, elbow, and shoulder conditions.
• Perform fellowship-trained hand/upper extremity surgeries.
• Provide non-operative management such as injections and therapy referrals.
• Oversee perioperative and postoperative care and recovery.
• Participate in orthopedic trauma and emergency call coverage
• Interpret diagnostic studies (X-ray, CT, MRI) and coordinate care.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, risks, and outcomes.
• Supervise residents, fellows, and APPs as applicable.
• Maintain thorough clinical documentation and participate in quality initiatives.
