Job summary
A medical services group seeks a Hand and Upper Extremity Orthopedic Surgeon to provide comprehensive surgical and non-surgical care. The role involves evaluating and managing various conditions affecting the hand, wrist, and elbow, performing complex surgical procedures, and working collaboratively with treatment teams. Candidates must have an MD or DO, complete residency and fellowship training, and possess strong clinical and communication skills. This is an on-site position in Rapid City, South Dakota.
Qualifications
Ability to obtain and maintain unrestricted state medical licensure.
DEA registration or eligibility required.
Responsibilities
Evaluate and manage conditions of the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder.
Perform surgical procedures for reconstruction and fixation.
Provide non-operative management including injections and rehab planning.
Maintain clinical documentation and participate in quality improvement.

Education
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
Completion of accredited orthopedic surgery residency
