Job summary

Virginia Commonwealth University is seeking a PRN collateral, non-tenure track faculty member in the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery to assist with hand and upper extremity trauma call and patient care. This role supports teaching, research and clinical service in a fast-paced academic medical center in Richmond.

Responsibilities include supervising residents and fellows, advancing clinical research on hand and wrist procedures, and providing timely hand trauma coverage.

Responsibilities

• Teaching: Oversee residents, fellows and medical students in hand surgery on call and in OR.

• Service: Provide hand trauma call coverage as needed.
• Clinical: Deliver on-call and perioperative hand trauma care.
