Job summary

Healthcare United is seeking a Fellowship Trained Orthopedic Hand and Upper Extremity Surgeon for a full-time opportunity in Coastal Florida. This role offers joining a private practice with a strong referral network, multiple locations, and integrated therapy resources.

The incoming surgeon will focus on hand and upper-extremity surgery, with opportunities for partnership and potential ownership in a physician-owned ambulatory surgery center.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligible status in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Fellowship training in Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery.
• Florida license or ability to obtain licensure in Florida.
• U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required by the employer.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of hand, wrist, elbow, and upper extremity conditions.
• Perform operative and non-operative treatment within a private practice setting.
• Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, APPs, and physical therapy staff.
• Participate in shared group and trauma call.
• Pursue long-term growth with partnership potential and ownership options in a physician-owned ASC.
