Emory Physician Group Practices is seeking a Hand and Upper Extremity Orthopedic Surgeon to join an established orthopedic team in Georgia. The role focuses on core hand and upper-extremity procedures with a busy anticipated volume and growth potential within a community-based practice.
The selected surgeon will perform tendon and nerve repairs, fracture fixation, and a broad range of procedures including carpal and cubital tunnel releases, trigger finger releases, and wrist arthroscopy.
This position offers the opportunity to join Emory's orthopedic team as part of MGO and ESA in a collaborative, community-based practice. Due to strong patient demand, there is an immediate opportunity to build a busy, high-volume hand practice while expanding access to specialty care in the region.
Focus on core hand and upper extremity surgical procedures, with an anticipated volume of 500-600 hand procedures annually and significant growth potential.
You'll perform a broad range of procedures, including
Must possess a Doctor of Medicine Degree (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree (D.O.). Must hold a valid and unrestricted medical license to practice medicine in the State of Georgia. Board Eligible or Board Certified preferred. Hold a valid DEA certificate without restriction. Experience in outpatient medical practice preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills required. Must be computer literate.
