Job summary

JAG Physical Therapy in Warren, New Jersey is seeking an Occupational Therapist with hand therapy experience for a Per Diem role. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy; Doctorate preferred.
• Licensed Occupational Therapist in NJ/NY.
• CHT certification preferred but not required.
• 1+ year of outpatient hand therapy experience.
• Completed CEU requirements for NJ/NY state.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations and interventions for upper extremity diagnoses.
• Fabricate custom orthoses for upper extremity conditions.
• Document care data per EMR guidelines and billing requirements.
• Record daily notes, progress reports, and discharge plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to modify plans of care as needed.
• Provide patient education and training for ADLs/IADLs.
• Promote professional development and community outreach for JAG PT.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy

Licensed Occupational Therapist

Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) preferred

Hand therapy experience in outpatient setting

State CEU compliance (NY/NJ)
