Job summary

Atrium Health Gateway is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our outpatient rehab team serving the north Charlotte area. The role emphasizes patient evaluation, care planning, and delivering evidence-based therapy within an interdisciplinary care team.

Preference given to candidates with hand therapy experience or strong interest in upper-extremity rehabilitation. The OT will participate in team-based care and provide mentoring in a fast-paced clinic.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• Active state OT license required.
• BLS certification required from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient evaluation and creates care plans under supervision.
• Delivers age-appropriate therapy and documents progress.
• Provides clinical leadership and mentoring within the team.
• Collaborates with OT/PT/providers and support staff for coordinated care.
• Advocates for patients and maintains safe, ethical care.
