Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy required; Master’s preferred.
• Licensed Occupational Therapist in Iowa.
• Mandatory Reporter; BLS; FIM.
• Valid IA driver’s license with acceptable MVR for Outpt Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Contract Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Administers treatment techniques competently.
• Conducts patient assessments.
• Develops treatment plans for patients.
• Communicates relevant patient information.
• Provides education to patients and families.
• Supervises support personnel, students and volunteers.
• Addresses age-specific needs of patients.
• Adheres to safety and infection control policies.
