Endeavor Physical Therapy in Austin, TX is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) with Hand Therapy expertise to join our outpatient hand therapy program. This full-time role offers mentorship, a strong referral network, and opportunities for professional growth.

The ideal candidate will treat hand and upper extremity conditions, develop individualized plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Active or eligible Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Texas.
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential OR previous clinical experience treating hand and upper extremity conditions.
• Experience in outpatient orthopedics or hand therapy preferred.
• Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and patient care skills.
• CHT certification is not required for Occupational Therapists with relevant hand therapy experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with hand, wrist, elbow, and upper extremity injuries and conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans to restore mobility, strength, function, and independence.
• Provide post-surgical rehabilitation, therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and custom orthotic interventions as appropriate to training.
• Educate patients on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and recovery strategies.
• Collaborate with physicians, referral partners, and fellow therapists to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
