Job summary

Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics LLC (CAO) seeks a Hand Therapist to deliver comprehensive hand rehabilitation. The role involves evaluating patients, administering therapy, and coordinating care with a multidisciplinary team to restore function and relieve pain.

The Hand Therapist will document progress, select CPT codes, and ensure compliance with regulations while supporting clinic operations and occasional after-hours duties.

Qualifications

• Requires degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy program.
• Licensure in OT or PT in the practicing state.
• CPR certification required.
• Experience with electronic medical records.
• Experience fabricating, adjusting, and fitting upper extremity orthoses.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and documentation in medical records.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine course of care and follow-up treatment.
• Administer hand therapy treatments and monitor progress to improve ROM and strength.
• Collaborate with therapy team and other providers for optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to insurance guidelines and billing practices.
