Job summary

NovaCare Rehabilitation in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) and Physical Therapist to join our outpatient team. We prefer PT/CHT or a PT preparing to sit for the CHT exam, with a focus on upper-extremity rehabilitation and collaborative practice.

The role covers evaluation, treatment, and discharge planning for tendon injuries, sprains, fractures, and neurologic conditions, with opportunities for mentorship, ongoing professional development, and access to resources

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program in physical or occupational therapy.
• Experience in hand therapy and upper-extremity rehabilitation preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with hand therapy specialists and mentors.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with hand and upper-extremity conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and discharge summaries.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and participate in mentorship programs.
