Are you a Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist interested in orthopedics, sports medicine and manual therapy? We are actively seeking a PT or OT with their CHT or a strong interest in hand therapy to support our growing upper extremity caseload. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for working with complex hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder conditions within a collaborative orthopedic setting.
Do you want to join a clinic with a dedicated orthopedic patient base, be in an autonomous practice with like-minded individuals, a laid back and cohesive environment focusing on the most efficient and effective treatment, a caseload of 10-12 patients per day on average. About the Role:
As a Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in helping patients recover from injuries and illnesses. You will be responsible for evaluating patients' conditions, developing treatment plans, and providing hands-on therapy to help them regain their strength and mobility. Your ultimate goal will be to help patients achieve their maximum potential and improve their quality of life. This position requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of human anatomy and physiology.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy
Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist
Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with patients in a clinical or hospital setting
Specialization in a particular area of physical therapy, such as sports medicine or geriatrics
Advanced certification or training in a specific technique or modality
Responsibilities:
Conduct patient evaluations to assess their physical condition and develop individualized treatment plans
Provide hands-on therapy to help patients regain their strength, mobility, and independence
Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for exercises and activities
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and progress reports
Skills:
As a Physical Therapist / Occupational Therapist , you will use your knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to develop individualized treatment plans and provide hands-on therapy to help patients regain their strength, mobility, and independence. You will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills to educate patients and their families on proper techniques for exercises and activities. You will work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care. Your attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and progress reports will be critical to your success in this role. Finally, any specialization or advanced certification in a particular area of physical therapy will be highly beneficial in providing the best possible care to your patients.
